My main thought whilst drawing this: 'Don'tmakeitastorydon'tmakeitastorydoN'TMAKEITASTORYDON'T'

Because every time I design something for fun I always make a character and then a story to go with it OTL
It's too late for the character part *coughs*

So! Now that's out of the way, this is a design I had in my head for a long time. I saw this awesome sleeveless steampunk-esque coat once, and my inspiration arose from there. It had to be a white, sleeveless coat and I'm actually so proud of this design, I spent far too long on this, haha! I've always played around with the idea of designing costumes/characters as adoptables, but considering how attached I am to this design and the fact that it took me longer than usual to get it perfect... It's an idea that's way down on my 'could do' list, haha!

I didn't illustrate their nose and mouth because I wanted to focus on the design. I decided that this character is a superhero! I had a lot of trouble with her lower half, because I always seem to draw boots (because boots are awesome, right?) and I wanted to stray away from the stereotypical fanservice skirt + big boobs combo I see so much in Magical Girl universes, haha. Somehow I ended up with the 40's shoes and suspended socks/stockings, so that was ok. The top hat also gave me grief but I'm so proud of how it turned out! Her whole motif is diamonds and shooting stars, so I felt it was appropriate to make the hat decorations allude to her nickname. I've thought about her a lot and I think her weaponry is not a staff, but a sort of magic wand thing... You might see more of her soon.

I could ramble on and on about this design, but I'd better stop there, haha.

Awesome, you always come up with such intricate geometric designs! I think she actually looks good without a nose and mouth. I really love her hair too, how it flicks around. :D
