Cautious Optimism and Updates
Hey friends, it’s been a hot minute. Just wanted to give some updates about everything and let you know what will be upcoming. Firstly, we had some really good news about dad! He’s happy, healthy, and we’re all very confused because the original prognosis was awful. So in light of this, we’ve adopted the mantra of ‘cautious optimism’ for the situation, and hope that this pulls through as the final prognosis. The second thing I wanted to update you on was my health, what it means and how it’s going. To be blunt, I physically cannot make things or read large texts 9 times out of 10, and this is likely how it will be for the rest of my life. Essentially, it’s looking more and more like I’ve developed a neurological condition that has no cure, which affects the pathways between my brain and my eyes. I've been absent pretty much everywhere for a long time, and I'm not getting better by sitting on my hands.
This journal will have some distressing family news, so if that is not something you can deal with, I completely understand and you don't have to read.
To summarise, I am going through close family loss, illness and mental health ups and downs which have caused me to withdraw intensely, like a turtle. I am your turtle. I love you.

Hello friends~
It's nice to be back and talking with you all again now that my course has finished! It seems I've finally stepped out of that motivation funk I had for the past six months or so, which is making me feel so relieved, haha! I'm actually able to draw things now! I'll start posting art in the near future~
I kind of purged the stack of deviations that was accumulating so I feel like I missed a lot; I'm reacquainting myself with fab characters and even groovier people now that I have the time and energy to do that.

Update and Hiatus

Not quite sure how to start this, but I suppose a TL;DR version is in order first before I tell you guys what's been happening.
