It's a weird thing - War of the Roses RP logHastily, the leafeon tore open the package she had been sent. This was so exciting! She'd finally be able to participate in the medieval fair! Well, properly, anyway. Now that she had her outfit! "Oooh, it's so pretty~" Ari gasped, lifting the dress out of the box. It was a simple, peasant like dress, but it looked quite pretty. The leafeon sped to her room and tried on the outfit (which seemed to fit perfectly!). While she was looking at herself in the mirror, something peculiar took place.
The earth seemed to shake. The buildings outside (plus Arizona's) twisted and popped around, moving into concentrated groups. The bricks changed, the fur

Aaand, tada! My entry for the competition I wasn't actually planning on entering but did anyways!

Phew, I actually spent a lot of time on this. I'm still not completely happy with it, but I've done the best I can do. I might do another with just changed colours and such...?

So, I might take the time to explain my choices. The pokeball is there so that viewers know that this is revolving around the world of Pokemon. It's just a very well known symbol, so having that there for the start really catches your eye, I think! The font is of my design, though the colours of the letters are the same as the original. It doesn't really feel right otherwise, I think? And at the far right of the logo is the well recognised cookie that revolves around the Random Doom Universe! I thought that it would only be fitting, since those who have followed RD know that this is a sort of running gag throughout the comic series. Sort of. The footprints lead from the 'O', to the cookie (and taken a bite, it seems!) and back over to the pokeball. I didn't want them to belong to any character in the series in particular, and since both the cookie and pokeball are huge, it could practically belong to any character!
This is also the reason why I didn't include any characters in the comic series on the logo. Characters change. They can come and they can go. A prime example of this is Morrigan the Zorua! Though not in the comic series (yet) she is still included in the RD universe. Let's not mention that characters change and may evolve if the creator wishes them to!
The background of the whole logo is pretty simple; I felt that nature colours would be best since the majority of the comic is in an outside setting. The blue could represent water or sky, as well as the green could represent grass or growth.

So, that's pretty much it. If I win, (which I doubt) BehindtG has my permission to change anything on the logo to suit her needs. Like colours and the 3d pop-out effect around the border. I seriously don't mind! :D

But yeah. Simple is good, right?
